anyhow ...just a little update ...amber came to vistit and now is off to the old hali.
and rene is here moved into 30 second records.....and since he did the music hasnt stoped
its awesome!!!! we now have a little drum kit so we rock out all the time!
and i think it is now safe to say that summer is here......(thanks for bringing us our summer rene!!!)

I hate blogs so much, But for some reason I always feel the need to have one, or 2 , or 6, and I always feel the need to read them...mabye not like I used to back in the day when some ppl were still blog virgins, but I still read a chosen few.
and now I post on my blog...
Im fucking so bummed out on life right now dudes.
not like last year bummed on life, just like, 'my life is going no where'...'I suck at life ' that kinda bummed out on life. So much bad luck and negitive vibes have been everywhere around me .....I hate my job , but I really want to like my job. Its really stressfull just going in there because I know at some point in the day my boss will spaz out on me. she gives me all the really hard stuff to do knowing I have no clue in hell how to do it, but if I ask any questions she freaks .....I honestly think she might give me the shit I cant handel so she can fire me wihtout feeling bad that I have no money to go home with , without this job. I know i over exadurate things , but I am not even telling the half of it...shes a fucking phyco hose beast. She fired me out of no where the other day, then told me to forget it , then tryed to tell me she would "take care " of my student loans....a . k . a try to get me to go bankrupt, and I "was not to ask questions because it MAKES HER ANGRY..." someone please please shoot me
I dunno dudes, I think its just the fact that ive been up here for 7 months and every job ive had I ve hated hardcore and I havnt even had any friends to just chill the fuck out with. Mailman and Rene are here, but when you dont know anyone but Mailman and Rene, the fun factoer wears pretty thin.
I have a good feeling about Halifax, it could suck or it could be great I dont really know or care, I just wanna go now.
one of these days Im gonna Happy and you guys will be like ..whoa.....just watch.

Candlelit dinner

Hey all, quick update.
Owen just made a lasagne for supper. We all sat around listening to opera, drinking wine, dining in the candlelight.

It was very nice, me (Blake), Owen, Danni B, Lisa,Steve-o and B-tod.

Wish everyone else was there!

Now we're chillin listening to some vinyls and conversing with a few cigards going around.

As per my conversation with Kristy today, we decided to move out at the end of this month, meaning I'll be into 32 King as of April 1st, which is by no means far away!

I'm very excited.
We'll be adding 2 more guitars to the collection, including ampy.
Also, New Furniture, Plants, 2 computers, A big TV, Kickass record player and many records, Printer/Scanner/Photocopier, ect.

Unfortunely there will be one more smelly roommate. (Myself)

I'm excited folks! Can't wait! Gonna be a great summer, that's for sure!

Can't wait to see all you crazy kids.

Oh yeah, big shout out to Frankie, poor guy was neutered today. He looks pretty pissed now, but it had to be done.

WHats going on y'all? Nothing here. Just got in from work. One of the only things I will miss about this place is work. I know sounds like I'm on crack...mayeb they put it in my food, but man it's a great job. I eat a "family meal" every night and it's fucking amazing all the time, warren is jamacian and he's fucking unreal chef, he cooks all kinds of fucking crazy shit.....but tonight pheobe, his wife who is native and her family basically opened a business for her, she cooked surf and turf tonight, bass and Buffalo with roasted root veg. I almost jizzed myself. So I'll miss work, sometimes people piss me off but I piss others off sometimes, so it goes both ways. Despite how good work is, I still love the east way more and cannot wait for ALL of us to party again. Beaches, joints, mushrooms, music, but most of all friends. I miss you guys like you wouldn't believe. And if everything goes as planned, this summer will be the best I've had in years. I mean it, I love you guys and I'm getting pumped. Good times were had here but better times are ahead. I'm trying to write some more tunes as usual and trying to save money. I gottta stop going out. Tax return will be fucking seeet. PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Guys!!
I just got back from Toronto not too long ago. Had the time of my life!! We ate awesome food.. FOR FREE and drank awesome wine.. FOR FREE!! There was also the occasional partying going on...Met lots of cool people and went to this awesome Jazz bar .. I don't remeber the name of it but there was this chick who was amazing - she was singing along with trumpets and guitars and drums. It was so awesome.
The ECMA's are going on in C'Town right now and it's awesome. There is always something to do and awesome music to take in. I know that everyone wants to be here and we miss you so much!! It's only a couple more months! Me Blake and my sister (who is here for the weekend) went to see Mike and Steve from slowco do an accoustic set at Timothy's but steve never showed up. It was still amazing tho!
I think that I made up my mind to stay in C'Town for the summer but I'm not entirely sure.. I'll know better once I hear back from North Ontario.. Everyone cross your fingers for me to get that job:)
I miss all you guys in Ottawa so much and can't wait to see you again!!

yep........so its monday mornin'.......just sitting at my desk being bored out of my mind. Ive only been here for an hour an dit already seems like forever. I guess I better soak it up now before my boss ad her 5 heads get here.
Ive seriously never been more afraid of any one in my life.
when she comes in I put my screen on old work e-mails or my Sabre screen, so she thinks im doing smething and wont talk to me.
.....Im totally happy and greatful for a job in the industry I went to school for, but Corporate Travel is not a place a begginer should be. there is " NO room for error" here, and boy do I work well under pressure.....(puke)

yesterday i went to Rich/Victoris's place ( Rich is the head chef at Bistro and victoria is his gfriend who also works there) with Mailman and Dan, for the sper bowl. it was good, we ate alot of food , played poker and watched the game, it was the most excitement ive had yet and it still doesnt compare to even just hanging out with you guys....... I cant wait to see all of you.
well, ..a whole 5 minutes went by.....i guess I better get back to fake working now.

So I'm out of the Band

Hey everyone, I didn't put my name on the last one but its called "30 seconds can you hear me". Alright so as some of you know I played a gig with a band a week ago. We played a kickasss show. I'm afraid my presence in the band is cut short. I'll tell you a story.

Alright. I met these guys online at Ottawa musician. Their pretty good, the drummer was amazing. So I jammed with them on a thursday night, I was drinking whiskey on the rocks all night. Doug, one of the guitar players, and I had split a big fucking bottle of Wisers. So anyway after jamming we all went to a party on Carleton university. I didn't have a fucking clue where I was in Ottawa at the time. I procceded to attend this party. So I was fucked and I passed out. I woke up only to find people drawing on me french face. So I got up, had a shower, apparently I was mad and tried to pick some fights. I had left the place with shoes, not my shoes but someone elses. and that was that....for the time being.

So we played this gig, fucking killed it, did three 45 minute sets and everyone was hammered and loving it. This guy comes up to me after the show and we figured out that he has my shoes and that I have his and we will do a friendly exchange until he suddenly bursts into yelling and starts saying shit. So I'm ready to kill him, he's ready to kill me, it was almost the appocolypse, over a pair of shoes. So we never ended up fighting but I did tell everyone off. Fun times in Ottawa. This guy was looking for a fight all night sources say. So I got a drive back to 220 stewart and Myles, the other guitar player asks me, "did you steal anything else?" Well......I says......"Fuck you and get the fuck out of my face"and throw the shoes at him, slam the door in his face, in a drunken rage, and thats how I got kicked out of the band. I still talk to the other guys minus the drummer. It was short lived but fun. Just another adventure in the life of Raynay! See y'all next time........

Me.. In A Tent???

So I just got some news not too long ago.. I guess after I finish classes this year I am goin to be spending a few weeks in North Ontario... In a tent.. That's right, 6 weeks of full tental action. Cooking for tree planters and living in the woods with nothing around me but tents, food, and music.. all live of course!! The chances of me going right now are about 90% and I'm pretty damn excited! It's not exactly classical, fancy, fine dinning but it's an experience. I'm going to try and be rugged... Imagine! The rest of the good news is that my bro works for this company since forever and he landed me the job... so I might be in the same camp as him. Im really excited about this and just wanted to let ppl know. I'm not too concerned about whether or not I'll like it, bc I'm sure that I will.. and what's 6 weeks of my life anyways?? WWWOOOHHOOO!!
So I hope that everyone is enjoying life and having a blast bc there is no other way to do it:) Love you guys

Hello everybody. Well just checking in and this is definitly a more interesting blog. We can catch up with eahc other while still leading busy lives:D....... Wish we could all be in the same place for just one night with lots of beer on the beach with naked chick dancing and shit........ok I kinda lost it at the end but just be all in the same fucking room.....with drinks. I meet you guys second year and finally find our crew of people who just click. I haven't forgotten about anyone, I love you all! We'll be back again. Blake, danni b, owen, lisa, mailman, amber........your all good people and I just wanna be sentimental and semimental at the same time.......I'm glad I spent the time I did with yous and hope to get to chill, all of us, again somewhere along the lines.
